SUTTON, LADY REBS POWER PAST BROOKFIELD

BROOKFIELD, OH- Brookfield took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. However, Crestview would respond quickly and never look back.

Crestview tied it with Kaedyn Sutton solo home run, her first of her High School career. Then, in the top of the 4th Shianna Mathes hit a single followed by an Olivia Strank single, then Karsyn Moore hit a line drive scoring Mathes.

In the top of the 5th, Baylie Bettura drew a walk followed by Ashton Hughes single then Taylor Mellington bunts for a single that set up Crestview Senior, Haley Eskra, who smoked a double down the right-field line scoring Hughes & Mellington making the score 4-1. Two pitches later Eskra stole home to make the score 5-1.

In the bottom of the 5th Bailey Drapola hit a 2 run homer for Brookfield to make the game 5-3. Kaedyn Sutton picked up her 5th win of the season. Crestview moves to 6-2 on the season and will host Southern tonight at 5:00 pm.
