BRUINS BOP POTTERS ON SENIOR NIGHT

EAST LIVERPOOL, OH- East Liverpool watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 13-1 loss to Brooke on Tuesday. Brooke scored on a single by Garrett in the first inning.

The Potters struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Brooke, giving up 13 runs.

Brooke scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Thompson, Jezierski, Billiard, Bates, and Langley all drove in runs in the frame. Bailey earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Brooke. He allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out five. Jezierski threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kamren Klakos took the loss for East Liverpool.  He lasted three innings, allowing nine hits and six runs while striking out two and walking one. Cory Weyand, Caleb Learn, and Blaize Davis each collected one hit to lead the Potters.

Brooke racked up 15 hits on the day. Langley, Shorts, Lilly, Jezierski, Thompson, and Bates all managed multiple hits for Brooke. Langley led Brooke with three hits in three at-bats.
