BLUE JAYS WIN HIGH SCORING AFFAIR

BROOKFIELD, OHIO- In whats was a back and forth game the whole way, Jackson-Milton got the best of Brookfield 12-7 on Thursday night.

In the first three innings of the game it was all Jackson-Milton as they jumped to a 6-1 lead before Brookfield came back in the bottom of the fourth inning to score six runs as they took a 7-6 lead. It was then that the Blue Jays  finished strong scoring six more runs to seal the win. Multiple Blue Jays had multiple hits throughout the game, including Drew Sloan, who went 4 for 5 and scored one run.

Landon Workman started the day on the mound as he allowed 1 hit, 1 run, and had 5 strikeouts before being relieved by the bullpen. Brookfield was led by Mark Randall, who went 2 for 4 at the plate and was also the starting pitcher of the day as he allowed 9 hits, 10 runs, and had 4 strikeouts.

Brookfield will prepare for a double header matchup against Conneaut on Saturday. Jackson-Milton will also prepare for a double header matchup when they go up against East Canton on Saturday.
