RAMS DOUBLE UP EAST PALESTINE

MINERAL RIDGE, OHIO- In what was a back and forth matchup up for the most part, the Mineral Ridge Rams ran away late to defeat East Palestine 14-7.

The big inning for the Rams was in the bottom of the sixth when they scored five runs and had multiple players with multiple hits including Jack Gillie, Triston Valley, and Xavier Klamer. Gillie had the start on the mound for the Rams as well. Gillie pitched three innings and allowed 7 hits, 6 runs, had 4 strikeouts before being relieved.

Cale Moraski led the Bulldogs in hits as he went 3 for 4 at the plate. Blake Noel started things on the mound for the Bulldogs as he allowed 12 hits, 11 runs, and had 5 strikeouts.

Mineral Ridge will return to play on the road against Mathews on Thursday at 5:00pm. East Palestine will also travel on the road to take on Western Reserve at 5:00pm.
