EAST LIVERPOOL OH- Just about every high schooler has to go through some kind adversity before they graduate. Some more than others. This year Beaver Local senior Olivia Keller has had her fair share. The player that loves softball, could have seen her senior season float away. A serious injury during basketball season made the road to softball long and bumpy. But here she is in her senior season helping the Beavers be the best team possible.
Keller has been playing softball since she was little, and she’s been able to share the journey with her father. Her dad has been her travel coach with the Ohio Blast organization. The dynamic between father daughter on the softball field has been a rock for Keller maturing as a player. He pushes her to be the best she can be, and because of that she has gotten through the valleys that the sport of softball can bring.
Keller has made the decision to continue her playing career at the next level. She will continue her academic and softball career at Geneva.
Olivia generously gave time to do an interview with YSN’s Anthony Hartwig. They talk about Keller’s comeback from an injury, her future goals, and so more. Make sure to check out the latest Beaver Local softball player profile only on YSN.
