A WALK-OFF INTO THE SUNSET IN LISBON

LISBON, OH- The Lisbon Lady Blue Devils seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off groundout at the end of the game to topple United. The game was tied at four with Lisbon batting in the bottom of the seventh when Senior Sam Tinsley grounded out, scoring the game-winner 5-4.  It was her last game as a Lady Blue Devil.

Also making the most of her last game was Taylor Deland who accounted for 2 runs scored.

Tinsley took the win for the Lady Blue Devils in the circle, as well. She went seven innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out three.

Annie Patterson took the loss for United. She allowed five hits and five runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking one.

The Lady Blue Devils saw the ball well today, racking up five hits in the game.Kenedy Vrable and Katy Clark all had multiple hits for Lisbon. Clark and Vrable each managed two hits to lead Lisbon.

Alyssa Inman led United with three hits in four at-bats.
