AAC ANNOUNCES VOLLEYBALL AWARDS

It was a fantastic regular season in the AAC for volleyball.  With plenty of teams poised for a postseason run, it’s time to look at which players made the biggest impact on the AAC coaches in their postseason award voting.  Austintown Fitch won the AAC for the third straight season.

Winning the AAC Player of the Year this season was Austintown Fitch’s Jocelyn Jourdan.  Gresham Riley Simons joined Jourdan as Falcons on the First Team list. They are joined by Abby Muckleroy from Canfield, Cami Goske out of Boardman, Courtney Clark and Sianna Dykes representing Howland, Canfield’s libero Parker Wilkins also was named as a First Team member.

Second Team All AAC starts with Afton Roby and Kylie Folkwein from Austintown Fitch, Gia Triveri from Boardman, Alyssa Massucci representing Howland, Riley Kinkade makes it for Canfield, and the list is rounded out by Savana Shipman out of Warren Harding.  Boardman’s libero Gianna Cicchillo was second team libero.
