ALL RHODES LEAD TO VICTORY FOR SALEM

Carson Rhodes had all the right stuff on Monday for Salem, allowing zero runs and besting Canton South by a score of 6-0

Salem pulled off the big victory without ever scoring many runs in an inning. The most they scored was two in the third.

The Quakers opened up scoring in the first inning. Gavin Wilms homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

One bright spot for Canton South was a single in the seventh inning.

Rhodes was the winning pitcher for Salem. The righty allowed one hit and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven.

Salem smacked two home runs on the day. Wilms had a homer in the first inning. Rhodes put one out in the fourth inning.

Wilms led Salem with two hits in three at bats.
