ALLIANCE TOO MUCH FOR QUAKERS

ALLIANCE, OH- The Quakers just wanted to play ball on Monday.  They found an opponent- just couldn’t find the victory on Monday as Alliance scored a pair in the fifth to seal the Aviator win.

Holt led things off on the mound for Alliance. He went one inning, allowing zero runs on two hits and walking zero.

Brock Young was on the hill for Salem. He surrendered four runs on six hits over six innings, striking out two. Offensively, the Quakers had six hits in the game. Joey Watson and Ricky Enlow all managed multiple hits for SalemEnlow and Watson each collected two hits to lead the team.

Alliance collected six hits on the day. Datz and Heater all managed multiple hits for Alliance. Alliance didn’t commit a single error in the field. Strata had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
