AREA PLAYERS HONORED AS D-6 AND D-7 ALL-OHIO

COLUMBUS, OH- A few names you’ve heard on YSN this year have been honored with All-Ohio recognition this weekend.

Columbiana Senior, Jakob Cross was chosen as a Division VI OPSWA Special Mention Honoree at the Linebacker position.  Cross helped lead his team to another winning season in Columbiana and doubled as the Clipper QB.

Connor Hicks (Senior) from Leetonia was chosen on Division VII’s First-Team Defense as well as teammate Marco Ferry who was chosen Special Mention for a Back.

Warren JFK had representation from Cam Hollobaugh on the D-7 First-Team Defense, as well as Jesse Likens who was placed as Special Mention All-State for a Running Back.  Senior Lineman Earl Hill made Third-Team All-Ohio, while standout pass receiver Sa’vone Williamson joins as a defensive back and lineman Jaylin Turner were selected as Special Mention.

Wellsville was represented as well with Tiger Senior standout Darien Suggs making Special Mention for Defensive Backs.

Congratulations to all these Gentlemen on outstanding seasons in 2019, we’re incredibly proud of your efforts and how you represented your family, school, and communities on and off the field this year!  Best of luck in your future endeavors!
