ASTRO HOLDS TIGHT TO PULL OUT VICTORY

STRUTHERS, OH- Astro Falcons got out to a five-run lead in the seventh inning and held on for a 5-4 victory over A2Z on Saturday. A2Z scored three runs on a double in the seventh inning.

A2Z scored four runs in the seventh inning, but Astro Falcons still managed to pull out the victory. A2Z scored its runs on a double by Chris Denney.

The Falcons fired up the offense in the first inning, when Jake Schneider grounded out, scoring one run.

Schneider led the Astro Falcons to victory on the mound. He went six innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out six and walking one. Jaden Rishel threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Carson Bish was on the hill for A2Z. He surrendered three runs on three hits over five innings, striking out four. Blake Jeffries threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Nick Lewis went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Astro Falcons in hits.
