STRUTHERS OH- Both pitchers in Thursday’s NABF World Series game between Astro Falcons and the Brooklyn Bonnie Jays was a straight up pitcher’s duel. The Falcons were able to come out on top 3-2.

The Falcons scored first on a wild pitch. The Bonnie Jays then answered and tied the game 1-1.  It stayed that way for a couple innings until the Falcons took a 3-1 lead. Brooklyn then made it a one run game on a wild pitch.  The score would stay that way the rest of the game, both teams would let a couple scoring opportunities fall by the wayside.

Brian Pirone threw a complete game for the Falcons and struck out 12 hitters.  He only gave up 5 hits in his outing.
