AUSTINTOWN FITCH VOLLEYBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH JODY BARTLETT

AUSTINTOWN OH- Fitch volleyball has experienced tremendous success this season. They are tough not just physically and mentally. They have been able to come back from some tough situations mainly due to their leadership The Falcons also have some young talent to fall back on. They are well rounded in every part of the game of volleyball. The Falcons also play an extremely tough schedule to sharpen themselves for the postseason.

Head coach Jody Bartlett has been a part of the program for a while, and has raised the bar in terms of expectations of the program. She gets the best out of her players. She has been blessed with a great mixture of young talent and experienced seniors, and it all starts with the defense they play. Their front row is led by seniors Cate McGuire, and Alex Fisher, and then supplemented by sophomore Jocelyn Jourdan. They control the blocking at the net, while the group of defensive specialists in the back handle keeping the ball in the air.
