AVALANCHE GRAB LATE LEAD OVER CSA

STRUTHERS, OH- The Avalanche snagged a late lead and defeated CSA 8-7 on Saturday. The game was tied at five with Avalanche batting in the top of the fifth when William Moore drew a walk, scoring one run.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. The Avs collected three hits and CSA had six.  CSA scored three runs in the third inning. Feezle and Adamson each drove in runs during the inning.

Zach Livosky got the start for The Avalanche. He went two and a third innings, allowing four runs on four hits, striking out one and walking zero.

Darnley was on the pitcher’s mound for CSA. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing two hits and seven runs while striking out three. Gushura and Adamson entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings and one-third of an inning respectively.

Aidan BowserHunter Stelter, and Mark Cattron each collected one hit to lead The Avs. The Avalanche  tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Cattron led the way with two.
