AVALANCHE PLAY HEARTBREAKER AGAINST CSA

STRUTHERS, OH- Saturday’s game against Avalanche was a heartbreaker for Complete Sports Academy, as they lost the lead late in an 8-7 defeat. The game was tied at five with Avalanche batting in the top of the fifth when William Moore drew a walk, scoring one run.

Complete Sports Academy collected eight hits and Avalanche had three in the high-scoring affair.

CSA put up three runs in the third inning, the big bats in the inning were led by a walk by Noah Adamson and a double by Ethan Feezle.

Zach Livosky toed the rubber for Avalanche. He allowed six hits and four runs over two and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero.

John Darnley was on the pitcher’s mound for Complete Sports Academy.  He went four innings, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out three. Mike Gushura and Adamson entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

The Avalanche tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Mark Cattron led the way with two.  Avalanche were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Aidan Bowser made the most plays with three.
