BAJERSKI, SOUTH RANGE TAKE CARE OF MARLINGTON

MARLINGTON, OH- The South Range Raiders cruised to an easy victory over Marlington 10-3 on Thursday.  The Raiders opened up scoring in the first inning when Jared Bajerski singled, scoring one run.

The Burgundy and Gold would add three runs in the seventh inning. Trey Pancake and Jared Bajerski each had RBIs in the frame.

Nick Habeth was the winning pitcher for Raiders. He surrendered three runs on eight hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out nine and walking one.

Connor Evanich took the loss for Marlington. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out one.

Marlington had two home runs on the day. Andrew Pucci went for the long ball in the sixth inning. Levi Rogers had a four-bagger in the first.

The Raiders saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game.  Bajerski, Trey Pancake, Josh Stear, and Ben Rivera each had multiple hits for the Raiders. Ben Rivera, Josh Stear, Trey Pancake, and Jared Bajerski each collected two hits to lead the team.

Marlington collected eight hits on the day. Evanich, Rogers, and Pucci all managed multiple hits for Marlington. Evanich led Marlington with three hits in three at-bats.
