BALLISTIC GRINDS PAST EAGLE WEAR

STRUTHERS, OH- Ballistic stole the lead late in the game in a 7-4 victory over Youngstown Class B Eagle Wear on Thursday. The game was tied at four with Ballistic batting in the top of the fifth when Zach Groner singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Ballistic got things moving in the first inning. Dom Elia singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Dom Elia got the start for Ballistic. He allowed zero hits and one run over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one.

Micah Jones led things off on the hill for Eagle Wear. He surrendered three runs on three hits over three innings, striking out three. Jacob Jenkins threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jack Ericson led Ballistic with two hits in two at-bats. Ballistic also stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Caleb Saterfield led the way with four.

Dominic Bouscher went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Eagle Wear in hits.
