BARONS RALLY GETS THEM ON ASTRO’S HEELS

STRUTHERS OH- The 3B Barons pulled off a thrilling comeback against the Astro Falcons, overcoming a 5-0 deficit to win 6-5. Patient at the plate and solid in relief, the Barons clawed their way back into the game. The win brings them one game closer to the first place Falcons.

Corbin Sevcik was the hero on the mound, throwing four scoreless innings in relief to earn the win and keep the Barons in striking distance. Tyler Vogel took the loss for Astro, giving up all six runs from the bullpen.

Chase Beran sparked the comeback with a hit and two runs scored. Aiden Leiendecker chipped in with an RBI single and a run, while Nate Parrotto and Nate Thomas each drove in a run to secure the win.

For the Falcons, Blake Primrose was a standout, smashing a homer and a double, driving in three runs, and scoring twice. Brady Miller added two hits and a run, and Aair Fox contributed with a two-run double. Despite their efforts, Astro couldn’t hold off the surging Barons.
