BASH AT THE BEACH: QUAKERS CONQUER MOUNT TABOR

MYRTLE BEACH, SC- Despite allowing three runs in the sixth inning, Salem defeated Mount Tabor 6-3 on Friday. The offensive onslaught by Mount Tabor was led by Kronin and Craver, all driving in runs in the inning.

The Quakers got things moving in the first inning, when Senior, Adam Wilson doubled, scoring one run.  Salem also tallied three runs in the fourth inning.

Seth Seddon led things off on the mound for Salem. He lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out five.

Stoppenhagen started the game for Mount Tabor. He went four innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out one. Daniels threw three innings in relief.

Salem had one ball leave the yard on the day. Joey Watson went yaya in the third inning for the Quakers.  Wilson led Salem Quakers Varsity with two hits in four at-bats.
