BATTLE OF THE BULLDOGS GOES TO POLAND

POLAND, OH- After a successful two-game road trip for the Poland Bulldogs, they hosted the Lakeview Bulldogs and were relentless on both sides of the ball. Poland defense held Lakeview scoreless the entire night with multiple 4th down stops and a fumble recovery. Poland on offense would score 5 rushing touchdowns from 4 different players in their winning effort.

Fullback Zach Ellis would score first for Poland after a 3-yard touchdown run gave Poland the early 7-0 lead in the First Quarter. Running Back Josh Alessi would score next for the Poland Bulldogs after a 64-yard touchdown run down the sideline increased their lead to 14-0. In the Second Quarter, Poland would find the end-zone with a minute left before halftime when Quarterback Jack Fulton found a wide-open Wide Receiver Andrew Centofanti from 38 yards to give the Bulldogs a 21-0 lead.

Poland would score 3 more touchdowns in the second half. Alessi and Fulton both scored a rushing touchdown in the Third Quarter giving them 2 touchdowns each on the night. Bulldogs would seal their victory with a 16 rushing touchdown from Quarterback Brody Todd in the Fourth Quarter to beat the visiting Bulldogs, 42-0. Poland (6-2) will travel to Jefferson next week. Lakeview (1-7) will host South Range.
