BEAVER GETS FAST START IN THE WPIAL BRACKET

BEAVER PA-  Beaver wasted no time making a statement in the WPIAL 4A Tournament, steamrolling Freeport 62-28 on Monday night.

Ava Wright led the charge with 19 points, while Emerson Connelly dropped 12 and Annsley Baker added 11 in a balanced attack. The Bobcats set the tone early and never let up, locking in defensively and controlling the pace from start to finish.

With the win, Beaver moves on to the WPIAL 4A quarterfinals, where they’ll face Elizabeth Forward on Thursday.
