BEAVER LOCAL RALLY COMES UP SHORT

SALINEVILLE, OH- Beaver Local traveled to Southern Local on Tuesday night and fell 63-49 to the Indians. Southern controlled the game from the get-go.

After one quarter, Southern was up 13-4, and the Indians didn’t let up the rest of the way.  things didn’t get much better for the Beavers.  The halftime score was 29-14 but the Beavers didn’t give up.  They made an attempt at a comeback, going on a 13-0 run to pull to within 2 in the 3rd quarter. They did that multiple times, but after 4 minutes, Southern regained control of the game. Forced turnovers on a full-court press and deep threes iced the game for the Indians halfway through the 4th and finished the Beavers off.

The next game on YSN Beaver Local is this upcoming Thursday with an approximate tip-off time of 7:00.
