BEAVER LOCAL REMAINS UNBEATEN

EAST LIVERPOOL, OH- The Beaver Local volleyball team proved they were ready for work Wednesday night quickly dispatching visiting Oak Glen in straight sets 25-18, 25-15, 25-14.

Coach Sarah Lowe noticed right away her team was ready to continue their winning ways early “ Our girls tonight had a quick start and were ready from the first point”.  Brooke Talbot contributed another strong night with 11 kills, 8 assists, and 5 digs.  The normally strong back row play for the Beavers had an off night but was picked up mightily by their teammates “ Our effort during out of system play really picked up our back row tonight”  according to Lowe “We were really able to move the ball around well to our hitters”.

Elizabeth Kolkowski and Grace Hill added 5 and 4 kills respectively on the night.   Also contributing for the victors Bailey Bowersock with 4 kills, 7 digs and Leah Riccardo adding 4 kills and  4 digs.  Emma Joseph helped set up the attack with a team-high 11 assists.  Next up for the Red and White is a very tough opponent who they could see down the road in the postseason.
