BEAVERS AND WILDCATS REMEMBER TODD SMITH
RICHMOND OH- Two heated rivals on the volleyball court came together on Saturday to prove that volleyball is truly a family at the end of the day. Both teams got together to remember Todd Smith, Edison assistant AD and coach that passed away earlier in the season.
On the court the Beavers picked up a win over Edison 25-13, 25-14, 25-19. Bailey Bowersock had 2 kills and 9 digs. Emma Joseph had 10 assists. Elizabeth Kolkowski had 7 kills and 2 blocks. Kodi Kinsey had 6 digs and 2 aces. Leah Riccardo had 3 kills and 3 digs. Grace hill had 11 kills and 2 blocks. Brooke Talbot had 6 kills, 5 assists, and 10 digs. Chloe Reed had 7 digs. Lexi Schrieber had 11 assists.
The Beavers will host the OVAC semi-final Tuesday against Oak Glen with JV starting at 5:30pm. Edison will hit the road on Monday and travel to Stagg.
