BEAVERS LOSE NO TRACTION WITH WEEK AWAY

EAST LIVERPOOL OH- The Beavers were away from the court for a week, but it did not phase them one bit on Wednesday. They were able to sweep Steubenville in straight sets. (25-9 25-17 25-16)

Emma Joseph had 19 assists. Brooke Talbot had 11 kills and 6 assists. Elizabeth Kolkowski had 9 kills. Leah Riccardo had 5 kills. Grace Hill had 8 kills. Lexi Schrieber had 7 assists. The beavers play at home tomorrow vs Oak Glen. The jv match will begin at 4:00.

Coach Sarah Lowe: After being off for over a week, our athletes from freshman through varsity came out tonight ready to execute. It was positive to see the growth from
Getting quality reps in the gym.

Senior: Leah Riccardo: We played a great game and started strong right out of the gate. Our offense was strong tonight and we used that to our advantage.

Senior Brooke Talbot: tonight was a huge step in the right direction from our defense to our front row attack. i feel like we all mixed up where we were placing the ball in the front and moved very well in the back row. for not having a game in a while, the coaches kept our game high with having practices to prepare for our upcoming games. i bet everyone can say the same, our students play a huge roll in the score board getting in the opposing teams heads, and pumping us all up on the court and on the side lines.
