BEAVERS OFFENSE RUNS BY THE BROOKE

EAST LIVERPOOL OH- The offense for Beaver Local this season has been a setter’s dream. You can’t look around without seeing a dangerous weapon on the floor. Brooke Talbot has been one of those weapons al year, not just on the attack, but also with her setting ability. The senior setter has 277 assists on the season to go along with her 207 kills. She runs the offense that is so evened out, there isn’t one player putting up huge numbers, but instead a mix of multiple players putting up solid numbers. Being a setter means being a leader as well, and that is not something Brooke lacks at all. Her vocal leadership can be heard any time you enter the gym for a Beaver Local volleyball game.

Brooke has committed to continue her academic, and volleyball career at Thiel College to join some familiar faces to YSN as a Tomcat.

YSN’s Running Point was able to chat with Brooke this week about her senior season. She talks with Anthony Hartwig, and Ty Bartell about the evenness of the Beaver’s offense, her favorite part about being a Beaver, and much more. Brooke is the second Beaver Local volleyball player to win Baird Brothers Big Dog of the Valley, so you won’t want to miss this exclusive interview.
