BEIDELSCHIES AND CARDINALS FIND PERFECTION

STRUTHERS OH- Landon Beidelschies threw a gem on Friday to lead Canfield past Struthers 13-0 with the rarest of baseball moments: The Perfect Game. Beidelschies struck out Grady Moore to end the game.

Canfield opened up scoring in the first inning. Beidelschies’s sac fly scored one run.

Beidelschies was the winning pitcher for Canfield. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out 13 and walking zero.

Chance Laczko took the loss for Struthers. Laczko lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing four hits and six runs.

The Cardinals had 15 hits in the game. Ryan Petro, Ethan Prout, Jameson Beck, and Beidelschies each managed multiple hits. Petro led with three hits in three at bats.

Canfield was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Michael Patellis made the most plays with 13.
