BELLAIRE HANDS BEAVERS TOUGH LOSS

BELLAIRE, OH- The Beavers had their struggles on the road Saturday, as they were handed their worst loss of the season 36-7 courtesy of the Bellaire Big Reds.Things looked pretty good early for the Beavers, as Daniel Wirth forced a fumble on a sack that was recovered at the 30 yard line. The offense took just 3 plays to punch it in and take a 7 point lead. They then forced a Bellaire punt and nearly had a TD on a long run from a bubble screen to Caleb White. but he fumbled and Bellaire recovered at their own 1. It was all Big Reds after that. They took a couple of drives to get on the board, but they did so often after that. One PAT was missed and one was blocked, so the score should have been 38-7 if you look at it that way. The Beavers offense was a big factor in the loss, as they turned it over 7 times. 5 were courtesy of Ethan Lewis, who threw 4 picks and fumbled the other time. The Beavers will look to bounce back as they travel to Buckeye Local for a 7:00 kickoff. Pregame at 6:40 on YSN Beaver Local.
