BLUE DEVILS BOW OUT

BRISTOLVILLE, OHIO- Nothing came easy for the Lisbon Devils on Thursday, as they fell 10-3 to Bristol in the second round of the division IV statewide tournament.

The Devils fired up the offense in the second inning, when Haiden Colvin singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, but Bristol pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning when an error scored one run for Bristol and Jo Miller singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Kohler took the win for Bristol as he went six and a third innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out 12. Williams threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Paxton Henthorne led things as the plate for Lisbon going 2 for 3, while Brady Carpenter was on the pitcher’s mound for the Devils as he went six innings, allowing ten runs on 13 hits and striking out five.
