MINERAL RIDGE, OHIO. In a nail biting match on the gridiron between the Mineral Ridge Rams and the McDonald Blue Devils, ultimately ended in victory for the Blue Devils as they hang on at the last second putting a stop to the Rams late attempt to tie the game with a 21-14 win.
Rams quarterback, Mark Bunch threw for 218 yds with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception as his tremendous effort just was not enough to put the Rams in the win column once more.
On the other side of the ball the two-headed monster quarterback and running back duo of Logan Hawk and Nathan Gilligan combined for a total of 305 rushing yards with also a combined total of 3 touchdowns and that was enough to hold off the Rams as the Blue Devils earned their first win of the season.
The Blue Devils look to improve their record to 2-3 with a win next week against the Mckinley Trojans. Mineral Ridge look to jump back into the win column next week as they will take on Springfield.
