BLUE DEVILS OFFENSE CONTINUES ITS RAMPAGE

MINERAL RIDGE, OHIO- Western Reserve won big over Mineral Ridge 11-1 on Friday.

The Blue Devils racked up 15 hits in the game. Katie Byers, Allison Jones, and Mikayla Salovich all managed multiple hits for the Blue Devils. Byers went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead the team in hits. Western Reserve got on the board in the first inning when Byers doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Hannah Heath took was the winning pitcher in the circle as she allowed seven hits and one run over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. Kelcee Dye led Mineral Ridge with two hits in three at bats.

Maddy Ylonen took the loss for Mineral Ridge as she allowed seven hits and five runs over two and a third innings, striking out one.
