Mineral Ridge stayed in it until the end, but Jackson-Milton pulled away late in a 25-16 victory on Tuesday. Jackson-Milton was down 9-8 in the top of the fifth inning when Kylie Wilson singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Kaylee Repp collected five hits in defeat. Repp singled in the first, singled in the third, homered in the third, singled in the fifth, and homered in the sixth.

The Rams notched eight runs in the third inning. Hannah Baird, Rosie Nolder, Anastasia Busse, Haleigh Taylor, and Repp each drove in runs during the inning.

Macayle Thornhill took the win for Jackson-Milton. The hurler surrendered seven runs on nine hits over four and a third innings, striking out two and walking one.

Maddy Ylonen took the loss for Mineral Ridge. Ylonen lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing 12 hits and 12 runs while striking out one and walking zero.

Riley Headley started the game for Jackson-Milton. The ace surrendered nine runs on 11 hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one

Mineral Ridge launched three home runs on the day. Repp went for the long ball in the third and sixth innings. Aaliyah Wall had a homer in the seventh inning.

The Rams totaled 20 hits in the game. Repp, Megan Gerberry, Courtney Boyer, and Ylonen each managed multiple hits. Repp led with five hits in five at bats.

Jackson-Milton racked up 21 hits. Camryn Mitchell, Thornhill, Headley, Paige Grope, Wilson, Ava Darney, Chelsea Williams, and Emily Fultz each racked up multiple hits. Mitchell went 5-for-6 at the plate to lead in hits.
