BLUE JAYS HAVE A BIG NIGHT

NORTH JACKSON OH- Jackson-Milton cruised to an easy victory over Lisbon 7-1 on Wednesday.

The Blue Jays got things moving in the first inning. Mia Greco drove in one when she tripled.

Jackson-Milton scored three runs in the fifth inning. The Blue Jays’s big bats in the inning were led by a single by Grace Johns and a double by Brena McBeth.

Macayle Thornhill got the start for Jackson-Milton. The ace went seven innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out three and walking zero.

Morgan Lively led things off in the circle for the Blue Devils. Lively allowed eight hits and seven runs over six innings, striking out 12.

The Blue Jays racked up eight hits on the day. Paige Grope and Greco all had multiple hits. Grope went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the way in hits.
