BLUE JAYS HOLD OFF UNITED

NORTH JACKSON OH- It was opening night in Jackson Milton as two teams with aspirations of winning their league locked horns. The Blue Jays built a big lead early, but had to hold off United through the final stretch of the game. The Blue Jays came away with a 49-44 win.

Kylie Wilson put her mask on game one by leading her team with a game-high 21 points. She hit five threes on the night. She was one of three Blue Jays in double figures. Ava Darney contributed 12 points, and Carla Blancafort added 10 points to the cause.

United was led by Madison Kibler who finished with 16 points. Taylor Cope was also in double figures for the Eagles with 10 points.

Jackson Milton will continue the season Monday at Heartland Christian. United will also wait until Monday to get back to action as they host St. Thomas Aquinas.
