BLUE JAYS PREVAIL IN BATTLE WITH LOWELLVILLE

LOWELLVILLE OH- It was pink night in Lowellville as the Rockets came together with Jackson Milton to fight against breast cancer. Nights like this make it clear there are things bigger than volleyball. However, there was a match to be played. Jackson Milton took the win in sweeping fashion. (25-16 25-18 25-16)

Kylie Wilson led the Blue Jays with 7 kills. Paige Grope set up the offense well and led the team with 13 assists. Grace Johns led the back row with 10 digs. She also served up 5 aces on the night.

Sammie Kelly did a little bit of everything for the Rockets. She finished the night with 6 kills, 6 digs, and 23 assists. Sammie Moore led the defense with a match high 18 digs.

Jackson Milton is back in action Monday as they host Sebring. Lowellville will have a week off before they finish their season Thursday at Heartland Christian.
