BLUE JAYS STAY UNBEATEN

NORTH JACKSON OH-

The Bluejays improve their record to 4-0 after defeating Leetonia 13-3. Offensively the Bluejays pounded out 9 hits and stole 6 bases. The Bluejays were led by sophomore Connor Henderson who was making his first varsity start. Henderson was 3-3 at the plate with 3 RBIs. Junior Logan Sokol also led the charge with 3 RBIs.The Bluejays also got multiple hits from Senior Frankie Prozy who had two hits including an RBI double. Senior Mason Robison added 2 RBIs. Sophomore Billy Sloan, seniors Gavin Sahli and Cole Grope each scored two runs.

Senior Aaren Landis pitched 5 complete innings, scattering 5 hits while striking out 7 to pick up the win.

We return to action tomorrow when we travel to Brookfield for a 5:00 start. Then Saturday the Varsity and JV welcome Easton Canton for a Varsity/JV double header beginning at 11:00 am.
