BOBCATS COMPLETE SWEEP OF HOPEWELL
BEAVER PA- Logan Hill was dealing on Tuesday, punching out 11 as Beaver knocked off Hopewell 4-1.
The righty was locked in from the jump—scattering four hits, walking just one, and going the distance in a complete-game gem.
Hopewell struck first in the top of the first on an RBI single from Logan Triscila, but Beaver bounced right back. Derek Hughes lifted a sac fly in the bottom half to even things up.
Then the Bobcats took control. Jude Lovra slapped an RBI single in the second, and Ty Butler followed with a shot to left that left no doubt. The two-run blast gave Beaver a 4-1 lead, and Hill took it from there.
Butler was a beast at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs. Tanner Wilson and Lovra also had two knocks each to keep the lineup rolling.
Hopewell’s Kingston Krotec threw a full six innings, but Beaver tagged him for eight hits and four runs. Triscila was the bright spot in Hopewell’s lineup, driving in the lone run and collecting one of their four hits.
Next up, the Bobcats hit the field Friday against Indiana.
