BOWLED OVER: BOARDMAN GIRLS GO FOR STATE TITLE

BOARDMAN, OH- Imagine starting your career in bowling at the high school level, and sweeping through the conference championships for the entirety of your career- all four years.

Now add not losing a match from the time you’re a sophomore through your senior year.

Perhaps throw in three sectional championships, a district title, and finish top 10 in the state for 3 consecutive years.

Meet the Boardman Lady Spartan Bowling Team.  They’ve done all that and are shooting for more.

Led by Justine Cullen, the Lady Spartans are on a mission and are stronger and more determined than they’ve ever been.  With tutelage from a professional bowler, Danielle McEwan before their state championship, the girls feel like they’re knocking down all the pins in life right now.

We caught up with Grace Oklata, Sam Hoffman, Kaitlyn Greenaway, and Marissa Funk after practice to talk about what this ride has been like.
