BROOKFIELD DOES IT AGAIN

BROOKFIELD, OHIO- Miranda Nicholson was spot on once again on Tuesday for Brookfield, allowing zero runs as the Warriors bested Crestview by a score of 10-0.

Brookfield  racked up 12 hits. Cadence  Huffman, Sammi McAnany, Arianna Jones, and Jenae Pugh all had multiple hits. Huffman led Brookfield with three hits in four at bats.

One bright spot for Crestview was a single by Brooke Brubaker in the fourth inning. Nicholson earned the win for the Warriors as she surrendered zero runs on two hits over six innings, striking out four and walking zero.

Chloe Stoops took the loss for Crestview. The pitcher allowed 12 hits and ten runs over five and a third innings, striking out three.

Brookfield also socked one home run on the day when Abby DeJoy went yard in the sixth inning. It was DeJoy’s 6th home run of the season.

Brookfield will look to continue their strong play when they take on Champion this Thursday at 5:00pm. Crestview will try to get back in the win column when they travel to Rootstown to take on the Rovers at 5:00pm.
