BROOKFIELD KEEPS PACE IN MVAC

BROOKFIELD OH- After Brookfield took their first league loss of the season it put a microscope on the rest of their league schedule. With the talent in the MVAC gray tier, Brookfield would love to go the rest of they way without a league loss to compete for a title. That goal is still in place after Monday as they kept pace by beating Champion 68-33.

Sophia Hook had another one of her prolific performances as she dropped 20 to lead the Warriors. Mikenzie Jumper was solid with 19 points for her team.  Katie Gibson was right behind her with 18 points for the Warriors.

Bella Meyer led the Flashes with 13 points. Addie Warzala was also in double figures for Champion with 11 points.

Brookfield hits the road on Thursday as they travel to Newton Falls to continue MVAC play. Champion will try to bounce back at home on Thursday as they host LaBrae.
