BULLDOGS BITE PUTS AN END TO LOWELVILLE’S SEASON

STRUTHERS OH- Dalton came to play on Tuesday night in Struthers. Their performance got them a big win over Lowellville, 55-36, to advance to the District Finals on Friday against Warren JFK.

It was a back and forth first half: Dalton controlled the first quarter mostly, but Lowellville fought back in the second quarter. The Bulldogs managed to go into halftime with a 23-22 lead before dominating the second half.

The Bulldogs outscored the Rockets 32-14 in the second half.

Jack Steiner led the way for the Bulldogs with 20 points, making 5 three-pointers.

Quentin Lehman also had 10 points, recording 7 of them in the third quarter.

Anthony Lucente left it all on the floor for the Rockets despite the loss. The 1000-point scorer finished with 18 points and a haul of rebounds.
