BULLDOGS DROP THE HAMMER EARLY

EAST PALESTINE OH-  East Palestine came out swinging and never let up, dropping a 10-run first inning on Leetonia and cruising to a 16-6 win on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs sent a message right out of the gate, stringing together doubles, walks, hit batters, and even capitalizing on some chaos in the field to light up the scoreboard. By the time the dust settled, it was 10-0 before Leetonia even had a chance to breathe.

They tacked on three more in the second with more of the same—free passes and a costly error—and added another trio in the third. Patient at the plate and aggressive on the basepaths, East Palestine kept the pressure on all night.

In the circle, Foster got the job done over four innings, working around nine hits and six runs while notching three strikeouts.

At the plate, it wasn’t about flashy numbers—it was about clutch contact and discipline. The Bulldogs only racked up a handful of hits, but they drew 14 walks and made every trip to the dish count. Kridler led the team with three RBIs, and Andre showed serious discipline with three walks of her own.

East Palestine also flashed some leather, turning a double play to back up their pitcher and lock things down. Next up: the Bulldogs hit the road for a Thursday showdown with East Liverpool.
