BULLDOGS FINISH OFF A WIN AGAINST HOWLAND

WARREN OH- Howland scored three runs in the fifth inning, but Lakeview still won 8-5 on Thursday. Lexi Spangler and Kayla Campbell all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

In the first inning, Howland got their offense started. Campbell drove in one when she singled.

Ava Bacon got the start for Lakeview. The righthander allowed six hits and four runs over five innings, striking out six.

Spangler led things off in the circle for Howland. Spangler went two innings, allowing three runs on six hits, striking out four and walking one. Brooke Tatar threw five innings out of the bullpen.

Lakeview smacked two home runs on the day. Izzy Haines had a dinger in the fifth inning. Isabella Isenberg put one out in the sixth inning.

The Bulldogs had 11 hits in the game. Kennedy Bartlett, Isenberg, and Mack Stowe each had multiple hits. Bartlett led with three hits in four at bats. Lakeview didn’t commit a single error in the field. Stowe had the most chances in the field with eight.

Howland racked up seven hits. Campbell and Zoe King all managed multiple hits.
