BULLDOGS GIVE MURRAY WIN NUMBER 300

HUBBARD, OHIO – Poland Seminary showed their offensive firepower in route to a 9-2 win Tuesday against Hubbard.

The Bulldogs scored five runs in the fourth inning with Dominic Elia, Teagan McCurdy, Chris Denney, Ryan Dilullo, and Aiden Thompson all driving in runs. Bryce Barringer and Matt Boccieri each tallied up multiple hits. 

Elia took the ball for Poland, lasting five innings only giving up one hit and two runs striking out nine Hubbard batters. Poland also showed their ability to play solid defense, not committing any errors. In this solid win over Hubbard.

Poland coach Richard Murray recorded his 300th career win. Poland will be back on the diamond Wednesday against Hubbard again, this time in Poland with first pitch at 5:00 p.m.
