BULLDOGS HAVE THEIR DAY; MAKE IT TO FINALS

POLAND OH- Poland was not going to put themselves on upset alert on Thursday night as they welcomed in ninth seeded Cinderella story Louisville into the Poland field house in the district championship. After jumping out to an Big lead early, the Bulldogs had to hold strong during a late Leopard rally to win 53-43.

Brody Todd was the clutch performer of the night. He nailed down a couple of big shots down the stretch to haunt Louisville’s momentum. Previous to Todd’s buckets, the Leopards has clawed a 17 point fourth quarter lead down to 6.

Christian Colosimo was huge for the Bulldogs against the physical Leopards squad. He led the offensive charge with 16 points. Todd got in to double figures with 11, and Ross Dedo was right behind him with 10. Colosimo was one rebound away from a double double, gathering 9 boards.

Will Aljancic, and Cory Noble each had 12 points to lead the Leopards. Hayden Diego has a solid night as well with 7 points, and 6 boards.

Poland now advances to the district semifinals to host Chaney on Saturday at 4:00.
