BULLDOGS KNOCK OUT GENEVA

Sammy Aey was dialed in at the plate on Tuesday, tallying four hits and leading Lakeview to a 13-5 win over Geneva. Aey singled in the first, doubled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the sixth.

Lakeview fired up the offense in the first inning. Raegan Schick singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

The Bulldogs notched four runs in the second inning. They put the pressure on, lead by a single by Kylie Imes, by Gianna Caruso, and a double by Schick.

Schick got the win for the Bulldogs. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing 14 hits and five runs while striking out ten.

Jordyn Alderman took the loss for Geneva. Alderman lasted one inning, allowing ten hits and eight runs while walking zero.

Lakeview had 19 hits in the game. Aey, Imes, Schick, Abbie Campana, and Maggie Pavlansky all collected multiple hits. Aey led  with four hits in four at bats.

Geneva tallied 14 hits in the game. Alyssa Palmisano, Daliz Alverez, Jailyn Alderman, and Alderman each collected multiple hits.
