BULLDOGS SEND STATEMENT SWEEP RAIDERS

South Range Volleyball stopes a three set match to Lakeview Tuesday night (20-25 25-27 17-25).

Lakeview used their aggressive setter, Maggie Pavlansky to set the tone early in the match. Pavlansky came into the night with the second best hitting percentage on the team. Lakeview used a big rally to take a big enough lead to escape set 1.

In set two it looked as if the Bulldogs were going to run away with it. They had a 23-11 lead before the Raiders went on a 14-1 run to grab a 25-24 lead. Lakeview pulled themselves together however and scored 3 points in a row to take set 2.

The Bulldogs had all the momentum after pulling out set two and used it to comfortably sail to a set three win, and a sweep of the RaIders.

Marina Schneider led the team in kills with 6, she added 4 digs. Emily Irons had 21 assists on the night, 5 digs, and a kill.  Reagan Irons finished with 19 digs.

Raiders return to action Tuesday as they travel to Girard.
