CANFIELD GIRLS BASKETBALL COACH’S CORNER (EP 1) WITH MATT REEL

CANFIELD OH- Only a few more sleeps until basketball season! As we countdown the days until the opening tip-off, we take a look at The Canfield Cardinals girls basketball team. Going 17-9 a season ago, The Cards went .500 in the very tough All American Conference (AAC).

Losing a core group of seniors but bringing back a good amount of talent from a season ago, The Cards will be looking to grow throughout the season and potentially be competing in the upper part of the conference.

Opening up the 2024-2025 campaign at home on Tuesday, November 26th against The Ursuline Fighting Irish with a 7 p.m. tip-off. Until then, YSNs Ty Bartell and Anthony Hartwig get the opportunity to chat with Head Coach Matt Reel in a preview of the upcoming season. Highlighting the impact players, the conference outlook, team strengths and more on this edition of Coaches Corner.
