CANFIELD LOOKS STRONG IN SEASON OPENER

CANFIELD OH- Canfield and Perry know each other all too well. Last season, the two teams split their two games of the season. Perry won the regular season meeting, and Canfield returned the favor in the tournament. To open the new year it was Canfield that got the better of the Panthers for the second time in a row. They outscored Perry 36-24 in the second half to win 61-50.

Abby Muckleroy went off for the Cardinals. Her six threes helped her compile 22 points to lead Canfield. Alyssa Dill put together an 18 point performance as well to add to Canfield’s offense.

Canfield will look to keep their momentum on Tuesday as they travel to West Branch.
