CANFIELD OWNS THE SECOND HALF

CANFIELD OH- Canfield came out of halftime on a mission Wednesday night, blowing the game open in the third quarter to cruise past Louisville 60-40. The Cardinals turned a 26-17 halftime lead into a 48-25 advantage by the end of the third, putting the game out of reach.

Jenna Triveri led the charge with 13 points, while Aleen Barakat and Marina Koenig each added 12. Carly Fleming chipped in 10, and Lorieonna Jannone rounded out the attack with 7.

For Louisville, Courtney Barwick and Maggie Baker each finished with 12 points, but the Leopards couldn’t slow down Canfield’s second-half surge.

Canfield gets a breather after a busy stretch of 3 games in 5 days. They’ll hit the road again on December 23rd to face Perry. Louisville is back in action Monday with a trip to Marlington.
